Two moms. We love our children. We love toys and books. We love beautiful design and skilled craftsmanship. We love choosing gifts, giving gifts, even wrapping gifts!

We believe that toys and books make a difference in children’s lives. We think play and reading are critical to a child’s development. We want our children to learn, to read, to create and to grow while having fun and learning to be respectful of the world around them.

Our goal at Rosie Hippo is to offer quality toys to enrich the lives and minds of children. We believe children’s toys should be unique, uncomplicated, inspiring, well-constructed and safe. You will find beautifully handcrafted wooden toys, toys made from organic fabrics, toys from cooperatives around the world, and books and games that stimulate creativity and independent thought. Toys that we hope will become family heirlooms. Toys that will evoke a sense of fun, curiosity and wonder for that special little one in your life. All of our toys are produced under conditions that are fair to workers and kind to our environment. With your help, we hope we are doing a small part to make a difference for our children and our planet.
